End of Summer Updates

Hello! How are we all doing? I hope you’re all finding moments of meaning and joy as you move through your daily lives. I’ve said in past blog posts that I often think of September as a prime “reset” time. As we rapidly approach September, and after a very busy and exciting year, I’ve taken time to reflect on some changes in my practice that I want to share with you.

I’ve added the great state of New York to my list of licensures, so am now able to work with clients (virtually) in New York as well as New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Please keep this in mind as you embark on the process of finding a therapist and/or are providing referrals to others. I’m eager to expand the reach of my services in this way.

I’m now contracted with Allied Trades Assistance Program. As I’ve worked with members of trade unions for two decades through Mental Health Consultants, this is a natural complement to work I already enjoy and am passionate about.

I’ve shifted to an all virtual practice, and this allows for more scheduling flexibility on my part. I have early morning appointments available for clients seeking alternative scheduling options. I’m hopeful this makes therapy more accessible for clients unable to attend sessions during what we consider to be typical business hours.

As always, please reach out to me at contact@jillscotttherapy.com to request information about my services or to schedule a phone consultation. I recognize the process of navigating our mental health system can be quite challenging and my goal is to help connect you with the professionals and services you need. My (virtual) door is always open.
