Sharing Gratitude & Practice Updates

Happy New Year! As we welcome 2023, I have been reflecting on the first year of my return to full time private practice after working as a NICU social worker for the past 8 years. It has been a wonderful, practically seamless transition for me, and I am so grateful for my past and current (and future!) clients who have given me the gift of opening their lives up to me. It is an honor and a pleasure to work with you during a moment or moments of your journey through life. I am humbled by your resilience, presence, insight, persistence, openness, and willingness to consider ways to approach conversations and decisions that might lead you to improved mental health and contentment. I have learned a great deal from all of you over the years and I value the work we do together tremendously. Thank you.

I also want to use this space to provide a few updates about my practice. I recently obtained my license to practice clinical social work in New Jersey, which means I can now see clients that are based in New Jersey via telehealth as well as clients based in Pennsylvania. I am offering both in person and telehealth sessions from my office in Center City Philadelphia.

I am contracted to provide services through the Carebridge Employee Assistance Program as well as the Wellspan Employee Assistance Program, and am in-network with Mental Health Consultants. I also recently became a provider for the Pennsylvania Organ Donor Grief Counseling Program, which provides the immediate family members of organ donors 8 sessions of grief counseling at no cost to them.

Finally, Iā€™m available for healthcare coaching, the details of which can be found here: https://www.jillscotttherapy.com/blog/healthcare-coaching

Please reach out to me if I can support you in reaching your goals for 2023 and beyond!
